Color, Black & white or Sketch
All three styles start from the same cutout of your dog, so you’re only choosing the finish. Color keeps the coat exactly as it is in the photo: the red in a vizsla, the brindle stripes, the pink tongue. Black & white turns it into something closer to an old film portrait. Sketch makes it look drawn in pencil, with lines doing the work instead of shading.
The preview shows all of them on the actual mug, so you don’t have to guess. Most people try Color first, then flip through the other two just to be sure. That’s the right move.
When to use ✨ Studio Enhance™
Your photo doesn’t have to be perfect. If the light was dim, the phone was old or the dog was mid-sneeze, Studio Enhance turns it into a studio-quality portrait. Picking the photo and the style
Get down to dog level
Photos taken from above make dogs look like a big head on a tiny body. Crouch down, hold a treat by your phone and shoot at eye level. That’s the mug with a dog picture that actually looks like your dog.
Black & white for the gray muzzle
Senior dogs with a frosted chin look amazing in Black & white. It shows every gray hair like a badge of honor, which is exactly what it is.
Sketch for the minimalist kitchen
If the shelves are all neutral and the dog is the only loud thing in the house, Sketch keeps the mug quiet while still being obviously your dog.
Print on both sides
One side faces you, the other faces the room. Printing on both sides means the dog is looking at you whichever hand you hold it with, and everybody across the table gets a view too.

- It’s an 11 oz white ceramic mug with a glossy finish. Dishwasher and microwave safe.
- Can I use an old photo?
- Yes, as long as the face is clear. Older or darker photos are a good time to try ✨ Studio Enhance™ and compare it with the original in the preview.
- Does the background matter?
- Not really. We remove it, so the couch, the yard or the vet’s waiting room all disappear. Just make sure the dog stands out from it.
