What to put in the name field
You get one line of text, and it’s worth thinking about for a minute. The dog’s name alone is clean and simple. “Coco’s Mom” is sweeter and makes it clear the mug belongs to her, not the dog. “Dog Mom” on its own works if she’s the type who has a whole personality built around it already.
You can also squeeze in a short date. “Pepper · Since 2023” is a nice touch for a rescue, because the day that dog came home is the one she actually celebrates. Some fur mamas care more about that date than their own birthday.
